Katie's First Fib

Katie officially told her first lie. She'd spilled some water onto the living room floor, which I discovered when I stepped in it. I said, "Katie, did you make a mess?"

She said, "No," pointed to Charin, and said, "Mama mess."

Charin said, "Mama didn't make the mess, you did!"

So Katie pointed at me and said, "Daddy mess." I told her I didn't do it, so she pointed to both of us simultaneously and said, "Mama Daddy mess."

And so it begins...;)
